The first director to oversee a council's and PCT's finances has been appointed. Tracie Evans will take care of financial matters Kingston RBC and Kingston PCT. The joint finance role, expected to provide more streamlined commissioning and service delivery, is thought to be the first of its kind. Ms Evans said: ‘A joint finance role will help us find effective local solution to the strategic issues regarding commissioning and service delivery that are common challenges across the country.'
