Lambeth LBC has defended a payoff totalling almost £88,000 to its former chief who admitted failing to stop after a collision and not having insurance.

Lambeth LBC has defended a payoff totalling almost £88,000 to its former chief who admitted failing to stop after a collision and not having insurance.

A council spokesperson said Bayo Dosunmu, who became chief executive in April 2022, had received the sum ‘in line with his contract and for work already completed'.
