LXB Retail Properties has exchanged contracts on an option to buy land owned by Stafford BC and Staffordshire CC, which will pave the way for a new Morrisons supermarket.
The planning application for the 71,500 square foot superstore was submitted in November, and is expected to go to the planning committee shortly.
