Peter Latham looks set to become the interim joint chief executive of Adur DC and Worthing BC, after the current top officer, Ian Lowrie, retires in the spring.
Mr Latham, currently a joint strategic director for the two authorities, has been recommended by joint staff committee to become the interim chief executive.
