Beleaguered Leicestershire CC leader, Cllr David Parsons, has finally yielded to demands that he signs a letter authorising the EU Committee of the Regions (CoR) to disclose details of his travel expenses to the county's head of internal audit.
In a joint report provided to Leicestershire's corporate governance committee on 15 May, the director of corporate resources and county solicitor state investigators still do not know how much was claimed and reimbursed by Cllr Parsons following his European travels on behalf of East Midlands Councils.
