An investigation into the expenses of Leicestershire CC's leader, David Parsons, has been referred to the council's standards committee.

Cllr Parsons maintains he has done no wrong over allegations relating to his expenses for trips to the Committee of the Regions (CoR) in Brussels, on behalf of East Midlands Councils (EMC).
