Local government minister, John Healey, has been urged by Peterborough City Council to update systems used to calculate immigration and population figures. Council leader, Cllr John Peach, has written to the minister warning the data sources used to compile the figures were ‘neither complete nor accurate'. He called for a change to prevent ‘a detrimental impact on the level and quality of services being provided to the residents of Peterborough'.
