West Midlands minister, Liam Byrne, has announced the formation of West Midlands leadership group to drive new jobs and new homes in the region. The group will consist of Trudi Elliot, from the Government Office for the West Midlands; John Edwards, from Advantage West Midlands; Olwen Dutton, from West Midlands Regional Assembly; David Cragg, from the Learning and Skills Council; Margaret Tovey, from Job Centre Plus; and Cynthia Bower, from West Midlands Strategic Health Authority.
