Leading the charge on town centre revival

Alan Harris looks at what councils can take from the recent Grimsey Review and suggests where it did not go far enough.

The recent Grimsey Review 2 made a number of welcome recommendations aimed at helping us reimagine the future of the high street – one which no longer relies purely on retail to survive. 

Ultimately, it should all come back to the same question ‘what does the customer really want?'. But in reality, when it comes to town centre regeneration, there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
