Some of the country's most enterprising leaders have been picked to drive home the message of capitalism with a conscience. Among the 25 new social enterprise ambassadors appointed by the Social Enterprise Coalition are a former district councillor and an ex-council cleaner, including Jean Jarvis, former South Shropshire district councillor and now CEO of the South Shropshire furniture scheme, and Gill Coupland, ex-council home care services cleaner, and now director of Angels Housekeeping.
