Leeds City Council has reclassified more than 800 of its properties as the controversy around the Government's new 'bedroom tax' continues.

Leeds City Council has reclassified more than 800 of its properties as the controversy around the Government's new 'bedroom tax' continues.

The local authority has sent out letters to 837 households, explaining how their council homes will be reclassified. Many of the homes are five- bedroom properties, which have now been re-designated as four-bedroom properties.
