Two councils have joined the shared legal services group of North West Legal Consortium. Warrington Council and Wirral MBC have come on board the group, founded in 2006 by Sefton MBC, Halton Council, Knowsley MBC and West Lancashire DC. Caroline Ellwood, legal director at Sefton, said: ‘We achieved greater purchasing power as a consortium, and we are pleased with the rates and discounts we secured and how the relationship is working in practice.'
