As summer springs back to life (back to reality), Diary welcomes the legend that is Soul II Soul frontman Jazzie B into the world of spurious local government references.
The man behind the seminal 1989 album, Club Classics Volume 1, has been turned into a park bench by Islington LBC, which has been placed near a new Sustrans-funded walking and cycling route. 'It's a fantastic project and it's emotional to be honoured by the community I grew up in,' said Mr 'B'.
