Leicestershire CC's corporate governance committee has urged the council to submit a report to Smith Square's bosses, outlining the impact of new standards arrangements.
The call for action comes after the authority revealed that former leader, Cllr David Parsons, was sent a third and final reminder on 15 November, seeking reimbursement for European travel costs worth around £4,000.
