Bridgend CBC has signed a 15-year deal to outsource its leisure services to social enterprises GLL and Halo.

Bridgend CBC has signed a 15-year deal to outsource its leisure services to social enterprises GLL and Halo – a move which promises to deliver £500,000 of annual savings.

The two enterprises will spend up to £1.9m on managing sports and swimming centres. The council claims the contract will ensure no jobs are lost.
