LEP funds growing with additional £270m

LEP have been allocated a share of the additional £270m Growing Places Fund announced in chancellor George Osborne's Budget.

Local enterprise partnerships (LEP) have been allocated a share of the additional £270m Growing Places Fund announced in chancellor George Osborne's Budget.

The new allocation adds to the existing £500m cash-pot provided by the DCLG to kick-start stalled infrastructure developments, such as new housing starts and job-creation schemes.
