The Local Government Association (LGA) has published the shortlist of contestants selected to participate in the 2012 Local Government Challenge – town halls' answer to the BBC's Apprentice show.
A panel, including outgoing LGA chief executive, John Ransford, and Dermot Joyce, chief executive of sponsor, Liberata, chose the final candidates for the annual event, which is supported by The MJ.
