Like it or not, the LGA still needs to change

The local government Westminster bubble is in danger of popping amid the ongoing saga of the Local Government Association's reorganisation.

As The MJ went to press, the board was due to convene for an emergency meeting to – among other things – work out just how to get back on track following the launch of the consultation on the restructure – which went down like a lead balloon – and in the absence of chief executive Joanna Killian.
