This will be my final column for The MJ as Society of County Treasurers president, written at a time when councils have just agreed their budgets.
Special educational needs and disabilities deficits were my key priority as president. It is pleasing that government has delivered a meaningful answer to cumulative deficits through the high needs stability grant.
