Croydon LBC's plans to outsource its library service to John Laing Integrated Services (JLIS) have been handed to the London borough's scrutiny committee.
'This will give councillors from both parties the opportunity to understand how we've arrived at this point and what the benefits will be of entering into this new contract,' said cabinet member for the library service, Cllr Tim Pollard.
