Lincolnshire CC will become the first upper-tier authority in the country to undergo the Local Government Association’s new peer review programme from 19 September.

Lincolnshire CC will become the first upper-tier authority in the country to undergo the Local Government Association's new peer review programme from 19 September.

Peer reviews are aimed at creating a system of self-regulation that will replace the regular assessments carried out by the Audit Commission that were stopped by the government.
