Liverpool will spend £100m on schools after BSF axe

Liverpool has announced plans to refurbish eight schools that would have been rebuilt under the scrapped BSF programme.

Liverpool City Council has announced plans to spend £100m refurbishing eight schools, which would have been rebuilt under the scrapped Building Schools for the Future programme.

Three of the schools will be completely rebuilt, while the other five will either be moved, partially rebuilt or merged.
