A website containing allegations about senior officials at Liverpool City Council has been closed down. The website, liverpool-evil-cabal.blogspot.com, attracted local attention after the council reportedly blocked its own staff from accessing it. It contained a series of articles about the authority and those working at it, including former chief executive, Sir David Henshaw. But on Monday, all the postings were removed. A message on the site reads: ‘This blog is temporarily unavailable, but the fight goes on.’ Liverpool City Council declined to comment.
