Local champions Town and parish councils must form part of the options for the future in the local government White Paper, according to NALC. Speaking at the LGA conference last week, NALC’s (the National Association of Local Councils) chief executive, John Findlay, said: ‘We know that not one size fits all, but town and parish councils are one of the options available.’
