When people are asked to think of Oxfordshire they might think of the city of Oxford, the Cotswolds or the Chilterns. They may also think about hi-tech industries and a world-renowned university.
However, a very strong constituent part of the county is the military presence that we host and we at the county council have worked hard to make sure the links between the civilian population in Oxfordshire and the approximate 12,000 serving personnel based here are as strong as possible.
