The referendum to create London's first parish council in almost 50 years started this week.

Around 8,000 residents in the Queens Park ward of Westminster City Council have until 25 May to cast their vote on whether to create a community council. The proposed council would have a parish tax precept of between £3.30 and £3.70 for a Band D property.
