English Heritage has awarded Oxford City Council £60,000 to compile a register of heritage assets in the Blackbird Leys, West Oxford, East Oxford and Summertown areas of the city.
Members of the public will be asked to comment on a list of suggested buildings or places valued locally for their historic, artistic or architectural interest, before these are judged by a community panel.
