The director of resources at Scottish Borders Council, Tracey Logan, has been appointed as the authority’s new chief executive.

The director of resources at Scottish Borders Council, Tracey Logan, has been appointed as the authority's new chief executive.

Ms Logan joined the council in 2006 as head of human resources, and replaces David Hume, who retired two months ago.
