Camden LBC has hailed the announcement that technology giant, Google, is basing its UK headquarters in the London borough as a 'great way to start 2013'.

The British division of the Internet search engine has bought 2.4 acres at King's Cross for a new, 1,000,000sq ft headquarters. The new building is scheduled for completion in 2016, enabling Google employees to relocate from its current premises in Victoria and Holborn.
