The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has fined Ealing and Hounslow LBCs a total of £150,000 for losing two unencrypted laptops containing sensitive information.

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has fined Ealing and Hounslow LBCs a total of £150,000 for losing two unencrypted laptops containing sensitive information.

The ICO has fined Ealing LBC £80,000 and gave Hounslow LBC a penalty of £70,000 after finding that the authorities had breached the Data Protection Act.
