I was reminded this week of Michael Heseltine's 2012 report, No stone unturned: in pursuit of growth, which featured a cartoon of the man himself hunting for growth under rocks with a torch.
For as long as I have been working in local economic development, regardless of the place, people have been in pursuit of growth.
