Almost 70% of the public say council websites do not reflect their local community. A survey by information systems provider, CAPS Solutions, found 67% of citizens would be more likely to use the websites if they provided latest information and had more emphasis on local communities. CAPS Solutions' managing director, Steve Ainsworth, said: 'These findings are concerning in the light of recent efforts by local authorities to become more citizen-centric.'
