‘Ludicrous demand' rejected Enfield LBC is to challenge London mayor ~Ken Livingstone~ in the courts over a waste facility. It comes after the council decided to close one of two recycling centre's in the borough. The mayor had asked the council to re-provide alternative facilities, but the authority claimed this was a ‘ludicrous demand'.
