Luton urges manufacturing giant not to close local plant

Luton Council has urged global car giant, General Motors (GM), not to close a plant, to avoid mass job losses.

A decision on the future of Vauxhall's historic base in Luton is expected soon, according to the chief executive of the brand at General Motors, Nick Reilly.
