Managers oblivious to Coalition's 'Open Data' drive

An overwhelming majority of senior public managers remain ignorant of government plans to make vast amounts of public sector information available for creative reuse, a survey has found.

Nearly four in five (78%) of those surveyed said they did not know about the Coalition's 'Open Data' drive, according to a recent poll of more than 1,000 top officials across Whitehall, local government the NHS and the police.
