Manchester City Council is seeking a lead investment partner to help deliver high-quality residential neighbourhoods in the north of the city.

The project, to be undertaken in partnership with Network Rail and the Homes and Communities Agency, includes some 2,000 new private homes and the refurbishment of another 1,000 across 135 hectares. Manchester leader Cllr Sir Richard Leese said the authority had ‘big ambitions' for the Collyhurst and Lower Irk Valley sites, which represented ‘one of the most exciting investment opportunities in the North West'.
