In our edition of 1 March, The MJ stated that Mark Rudd was employed by Barnet LBC through a service company.
The report followed detailed discussions with spokespeople for the borough and incorrect information provided by Barnet LBC. Mr Rudd and Barnet LBC have since reiterated that he is a full-time, permanent member of staff at the council and is not employed through a company. We are happy to clarify his employment status.
