The public sector has a 'great opportunity' to work with local authorities to drive growth and jobs through asset management, according to council chiefs.

Speaking exclusively to The MJ, Brian Reynolds, head of productivity at the Local Government Association (LGA), said it was 'harder' for the broader public sector to manage assets than councils, and examples from local authorities could assist significantly in the Cabinet Office's Capital Assets Programme (CAP).
