London mayor, Boris Johnson, has joined forces with some of the UK’s largest companies to launch a £3m fund to help small businesses affected by last month’s riots.

London mayor, Boris Johnson, has joined forces with some of the UK's largest companies to launch a £3m fund to help small businesses affected by last month's riots.

The High Street Fund has been backed a range of firms, including Capita and Deloitte, and will provide grants for small businesses, which were damaged or, in some cases, destroyed during the disturbances.
