Durham CC has been accused of a ‘shameful' lack of transparency for refusing to disclose its reasons for dismissing a senior council officer.
Former head of technical services, Stephen Keetley, lost his appeal against dismissal, having been suspended on full pay in July and subsequently let go in September, following an internal investigation.
