Mendip DC has signed a four-year customer services contract with Capita's local government services division.

The contract will run alongside an existing agreement to provide revenue and benefits, and other back office functions, from June onwards. 'The extension of the contract draws on the strengths of Capita's existing partnership with the council,' said Capita sales director, Giles Reid.
