Minimum £65k for elected police commissioners

Home secretary Theresa May says elected police and crime commissioners will earn £65,000-£100,000 a year regardless if they are part-time of full-time

Elected police and crime commissioners (PCCs) will earn between £65,000 and £100,000 a year, regardless of whether they work on a full or part-time basis, home secretary Theresa May has confirmed.

In a ministerial statement issued last week, Ms May accepted all but one of the recommendations put forward by the Senior Salary's Review Body (SSRB).
