Communities secretary, Eric Pickles, has turned his sights on middle managers, as local authorities continue to publish senior pay details online.
Mr Pickles has called on councils to publish the details of all staff members earning more than £58,200, as part of the draft Code of recommended practice for local government data transparency, which was published earlier this week.
