The Government has announced the 130 winning bids in the third round of the Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
The announcement was made by the deputy prime minister, Nick Clegg, on 19 October, during a visit to the North East. Mr Clegg said the £1bn awarded by the Government in the latest round would create jobs in ‘parts of the country that need it most'.
