Only a third of the public support evicting the families of children who were involved in the August riots from council property, according to a new report.
The news comes after ministers said they would ‘stand fully behind' councils seeking to evict tenants involved in the riots and the DCLG consults on new powers of possession for landlords of anti-social tenants.
