Plans to share chief executives have been subject to mixed fortunes this week, as it emerged several posts will have to go back to the drawing board.
In Kent, plans for a single chief for Dover and Shepway district councils have fallen apart after both current bosses – Nadeem Aziz from Dover and Alistair Stewart from Shepway – were interviewed for the post.
