The deadline for entries to The MJ Local Government Awards has been extended to February 17, giving council entrants a fortnight to plan their submissions.
Michael Burton, The MJ's editorial director, said: 'We are aware of how time pressed local authority staff are right now and we hope this extension will help them.I urge them to send in their submissions. At times like these it is more important than ever that councils promote and publicise their innovation and achievements.'
