While the dominant images broadcast during August's disorder in London were of burning shops and looters running amok on our streets, the picture which captured my imagination came from Clapham Junction.
Assembled on a broken high street and wielding their brooms in the air were an army of about 150 local people and other Londoners, who mobilised after answering a plea on social media.
