A South Wales MP has demanded a police investigation into whether Carmarthenshire CC officials committed misconduct in allowing senior managers to opt-out of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). 

The move follows publication last week of two public interest reports by the Wales Audit Office into pension opt-outs permitted by both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire CC's.
