Outstanding times five! When inspectors delivered that final Ofsted judgement on Norfolk CC's children's services across five core areas there was a huge amount of emotion in the room. Colleagues who have spent many years working tirelessly to improve outcomes for our children were visibly proud and deeply moved. It has taken sustained commitment, resilience and investment to get here, and that reaction reflected just how much our staff care.
Inspectors saw that staff go above and beyond for children and young people, that our practice is consistently child-centred, and that we know our children well because we build strong relationships and listen carefully to what they tell us.
